As our client Barratt Homes turns 60, we have been working hard to celebrate the anniversary with an exciting community project.

We helped to arrange a time capsule burial at the housebuilder’s Bishop Park development in Henfield, West Sussex. School children from the Year 3 class at St. Peter’s C of E (Aided) Primary School in Henfield were encouraged to bury a variety of objects, ranging from newspapers, letters and photographs to a copy of the number one single at the time on CD. This activity is part of a wider collaboration between Barratt Homes and the local area that aims to work with the community at all levels.

Members of the School Council then took the objects donated by the Year 3 class to Bishop Park and buried them. To commemorate Barratt Homes’ anniversary, the time capsule will not be opened until 2078 – 60 years from now!

We will be working at various developments and organising celebration events throughout the remainder of the year.
