Running the property scene at UKREiiF: Our partnership with Property Sports Network
Property is a people-driven industry that thrives on connections – and this year at UKREiiF in Leeds, Building Relations PR is going the extra mile when it comes to networking. For the first time, we are embarking on a partnership with Property Sports Network that will run throughout 2026, kickstarting with three early-morning networking runs at UKREiiF.
The partnership
Property Sports Network promotes fitness and wellbeing in the UK property sector by organising networking events with a sports or wellness theme. Established by Andrew Link in 2016, what began as an 11-person event at MIPIM in Cannes, has grown to a community of more than 5,500 members, spanning more than 2,200 businesses (including Dandara, L&Q and Notting Hill Genesis) and hosting more than 750 events across the UK.
Friends and supporters of Building Relations PR will know that we’re passionate about keeping fit, recognising the wellbeing benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle in such a fast-paced industry. Our team regularly builds movement into day-to-day working life, whether that’s friendly step challenges, undertaking a half marathon (or full!), braving the open sea for swimming, or enjoying a more relaxed form of exercise such as yoga or Pilates.
Whilst the three runs at UKREiiF kickstart the partnership, we will also be announcing other events throughout the year in both London and Edinburgh, so keep an eye out on our socials or join our mailing list to find out more.
UKREiiF
Taking place in Leeds city centre at the Royal Armouries and New Dock, UKREiiF is one of the hottest events for the property and real estate sector and brings together developers, investors, policymakers and innovators from across the UK.
Following a successful conference last year, the Building Relations PR team is set to return in full force. In 2025, we delivered strategic client announcements in the lead-up to the event, secured prime-time panel slots and arranged back-to-back journalist meetings, to name just a few highlights. This year, our UKREiiF fringe runs will once again offer an alternative way to connect – this time, beyond the conference floor.
Starting at 7am each morning on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st May, fitness fanatics and prolific parkrunners alike will be able to clock some extra mileage and gain kudos before many of the conference goers are grabbing their morning coffee. The runs are designed to be inclusive and energising, giving early risers the chance to connect in an informal and friendly setting. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or feel like trying something new, we’d love to welcome you.
Our events team is working closely with Property Sports Network to finalise the exact details, but attendees can expect a fun, welcoming atmosphere, good company and a competition (all to be revealed!). One thing we can guarantee – these UKREiiF fringe events are not to be missed!

What they say
Rachel Colgan, Founding Director at Building Relations PR, comments: “Property and PR can be demanding industries to work in, so wherever we can, we promote wellbeing and encourage our team to be active. After taking part in Property Sports Network events last year, it felt like a natural next step to join forces this year. UKREiiF is the perfect place to kickstart our year-long partnership, and we can’t wait to lead the charge. We’re looking forward to welcoming new and familiar faces each morning, and earning those all-important bragging rights early doors at the conference.”
Andrew Link, Founder of Property Sports Network, comments: “We are thrilled to partner with Building Relations PR this year. It’s important to work with companies that align with our values, and act as positive role models within the sector. Our UKREiiF fringe event runs were extremely popular last year, with around 300 people taking part across the conference, so we’re looking forward to welcoming more people once again this May!”
