Building Relations PR, in partnership with Burness Paull, convened senior voices from Scotland’s housing, planning, development, investment and policy sectors to explore how More Homes Scotland can become a practical delivery machine rather than another layer of policy ambition.

The discussion focused on a central question: how can Scotland create an institution capable of aligning land, infrastructure, planning, finance, standards and public sector decision-making behind the shared goal of getting more homes built?

The resulting report captures the key themes, tensions and recommendations from the roundtable. It explores why Scotland’s housing challenge is systemic rather than isolated, why More Homes Scotland needs authority as well as ambition, and why housing must be treated as economic infrastructure linked to growth, labour mobility, health, place-making and long-term community wellbeing.
