WhatHouse? Awards video is a triumph

Although it may already feel like forever ago (if our busy start to the year is anything to go by), we were thrilled to receive sign off on the WhatHouse? Awards 2016 video recently. Our team has been incredibly busy editing the video, since the 35th annual awards took place on the 18th November at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, which William Hague, the Baron Hague of Richmond, was an excellent and hilarious host for (we particularly liked his timely Trump opener).

Our locally handmade Christmas cards

We often advise our clients with new homes to sell to find out what’s going on locally, get involved and let people know they are there. Often we encourage them to use local suppliers wherever they are able to, whether this be a show home designer or allowing a local art group to use the show home as an exhibition venue. Used in the right way, local word of mouth is a very powerful marketing tool and the more that it can be used to spread the word, the better.

Meeting the PM at Help to Buy event

It was definitely time for a new outfit when Building Relations received an invitation to a Help to Buy Reception at No 10 last month. The Prime Minister was hosting the reception to welcome some of the numerous families who have benefitted from the 5 per cent deposit scheme. It was lovely to see some of the many homebuyers who all seemed genuinely delighted to have been able to move home thanks to Help to Buy.
